A parenting win! You have to hand it to the parents of this young boy. They went out of their way to create the perfect Halloween costume which incorporated his wheelchair. I bet this child was stoked and was the envy of other kids.
How about that? A security guard at one of Disney’s Magic Kingdoms going out of his way to make sure that little princess guests feel like they really are princesses! How many would think of doing such a thing – and on a daily basis to boot!
Man and Man’s Best Friend
This photo has made the round of Facebook a few months back – but still is heartwarming. How can you not be touched by the John’s devotion to Shoep? John would take a dip in the local lake because he knew the water helped ease the dog’s arthritic pain. Sadly Shoep has gone to doggy-heaven but he left the world knowing he was greatly loved by his master.
Another image that has been making the rounds on the internet. This is one where a grieving labrador retriever lay next to the casket of his master, Navy SEAL Jon Tumilson, showing the 1500 mourners who was heartbroken the most.
Well – if it’s any consolation – when we all go up and enter the Pearly Gates of Heaven, we can be assured that all the Shoeps that have gone ahead of us, and all the masters that have gone ahead of their pets will be reunited once again.
Weddings
When Yang fell in love with Ye Yongqing, they did not know that she was at the final stage of cervical carcinoma. Not wanting anything, not even the prospect of death, stop them from celebrating their love, the couple had their wedding photographs taken at the hospital, as a way of confirming their love.
Another heartwarming wedding photo … In this image, the mother of the bride, who lay terminally ill at a hospital, witnesses her daughter’s wedding, and her first dance with her new husband, via Skype.
On Growing Up and …
Who doesn’t find “through the years” photos nostalgic? Here’s a set of photos showing Dad and Son through the years. The last image though, is just heart-breaking.
Nothing can be more poignant than this image of Kermit the Frog touching the photo of his creator, Jim Henson. It’s as if Kermit was saying “I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for you.”
