It’s Spring! Here are some tips on how to prepare your skin and your hair for this season, especially after the effects of a cold and dreary winter. Coax back your skin’s glow, give your curls a natural bounce, and get your feet ready for flip flops!<h
5>Add life to dull hair
Remove any build up from hair with a clarifying shampoo. Then, get a haircut (which can help remove split ends). A gloss can help put some shine, which will look beautiful when the light catches it. (Read our article on how to naturally condition hair.)
Exfoliate
You can use a scrub or invest in one of those handy cleansing systems for deep cleaning and exfoliating. You might want to switch to a lighter moisturizer, and trade heavier foundations for tinted moisturizers or BB creams. These will make your complexion more even and won’t melt under the heat.
Pamper your body
Dull skin? Get a body scrub and some exfoliating mitts. You may also want to start using self tanner, to give your pale body a little color before you head to the beach. Pay extra attention to your feet. Foot scrubs and thick foot lotions can help slough off callouses and other dry, rough spots. Now you’re ready for those spring pastel nail polishes!
