It is quite easy to make the perfect soft boiled egg if you know the tricks. First, you have to make sure that your eggs are fresh – as with any other kind of dish with eggs. Next, you need to get a small sauce pan. The smaller, the better. This is due to the fact that the temperature is controlled more easily in a smaller sauce pan.
Fill this pan with water – about one and a half eggs high. Turn the heat up high and wait for the water to boil. Once the water is boiling, turn the heat to medium, and wait for the water to simmer.
You should then lower the eggs slowly into the water. Use a spoon with holes, and be very careful not to crack the eggs as you do so. Leave the eggs for 4 minutes and enjoy your soft boiled eggs after!
