Facial exercise # 1: Tighten your jowls
Imagine a line running from the corner of your outer nostrils to the corner of your mouth. Put your fingertips on top of this line. Then make a really wide smile.
Now, gently push your fingertips, applying pressure on the folds. Maintain the pressure for five seconds, release, then apply again! This facial exercise is considered a ‘resistance exercise.’ Do this 30 times.
Facial exercise # 2: Tighten your neck and cheeks
This facial exercise firms your cheeks, chin and neck and is so subtle that you can do it in your office cubicle or while waiting in line at banks or doctor’s clinics!
Tilt your neck backwards, so you are looking up at the ceiling. Then, press your tongue flat against the roof of your mouth. Then, swallow. Next, bend your neck to the left. Press your tongue flat against the roof of your mouth again, and swallow. Bend your neck to the right, and press your tongue and swallow once more. Do this four times.
Facial exercise # 3: tighten your eye muscles
This facial exercise takes a bit of getting used to, but it’s a lot easier than getting botox injections! The trick is to keep your brow area relaxed and unfurrowed. Then, widen your eyes in surprise—like you just saw aliens land in front of you. Keep your eyes straight, focusing on that single point for about 10 seconds.
