Avid gamers will spend hours working to unlock certain game achievements. But we raise our hands in salute to the military, who will spend years working to earn these medals and accomplishments. For example, they must master specialized weapons, or withstand the harshest elements (one achievement requires spending two weeks in subzero temperatures in Antarctica!).
There are also the amazing acts of courage, and unlike gamers, these men have no chance to “reboot” if something goes wrong.
