Marijuana is being used in different medicinal applications. Indeed, it is legal in some places for this purpose. Medical marijuana, as it is called, is currently being used for diseases such as cancer and AIDS. It is not used as a cure but more as an aid to make living conditions more bearable. Medical marijuana is also used to deal with anxiety, nausea, arthritis, and migraines. Medical marijuana may be ingested via smoking, as a pill, or eating/drinking the dried parts of the plant. In the US, only the pill form is approved by the FDA. In some states, prescription is allowed, but the same does not apply at the federal level.
