What can I do to remove nicotine stains from my lips?

July 27, 2010 by Dave Leave a Comment

The only way that you can permanently remove nicotine stains from your lips is to stop smoking altogether. Once you have decided to stop smoking, you can follow certain practices that will lighten the stain gradually. Remember to drink lots of water – this will help in removing the stains faster. Apply fresh lemon juice on your lips twice a day to lighten their color. Also, at night, apply a lot of petroleum jelly. Another thing you can do is to exfoliate your lips by gently brushing them after you brush your teeth. Last, remember to wear lip balm with SPF 15 or more when you go out.
