We pay lots of money for expensive anti-aging creams and spa treatments. But one of the most powerful ingredients in those premium products is sitting right in your pantry: grapeseed oil. It’s a favorite in beauty forums! Discover the wonderful benefits and uses of grapeseed oil, and how you can use it without forking over big bucks.
Grapeseed oil can keep the skin soft and supple. You can use it on your face in two different ways: applying it right after washing your face, so it locks in moisture, or adding a few drops into your existing skincare products. Others like applying it on top of cream so that it locks the product in, but this is best done if you have very dry skin.
Grapeseed oil is an excellent source of antioxidants, which can help neutralize free radicals that cause wrinkles and sun damage. It is also rich in Vitamin C, which makes it excellent treatment for dull and uneven complexions. Again, apply to the face after a shower and rub excess on the hands, too. The skin on your hands can get very dull and uneven, thanks to exposure to cleaning agents and other harsh chemicals.
Aside from applying grapeseed oil directly to the skin, you can also mix it with sugar to make a handscrub or body scrub. Add a few essential oils and it becomes a relaxing massage oil too. Or you can combine it with olive oil or sweet almond oil, and the contents of 2 vitamin E capsules
